The Chat Client is a Win32
application. Usually it is automatically downloaded and installed
as described in Chapter 4.
The client gui is comprised
of 4 main sections. The main window that houses or contains 3
other sections. The 3 sections are the text chat, user list, and
collaboration area.
Each of these may be enabled or disabled based upon the
room design. The logon screen is shown below. It will prompt
the user for their alias and password, unless the alias is passed in as described
in Chapter 4. Some or all of the entry
fields may be disabled depending on the information passed into the
client.
